Biddeford Maine’s Gumskab formed in the winter of 2023. The group released a 5 song demo through Cheap Life Records and started playing as many shows as possible. Gumskab began building a name for themselves while carrying Maine hardcore on their backs. A true embodiment of community based hardcore, Gumskab began playing throughout New England and the northeast. Following three stand alone singles through Cheap Life Records and a non-stop show schedule the group is releasing 7 new tracks with “Cut Your Teeth”to be released in the summer of 2024. This EP displays the band's blend of punk/hardcore/death metal and black metal. Pulling as many friends onto these tracks as possible for guest vocals, Gumskab is ready to bring Maine hardcore outside of the northeast.
